Bruce Springsteen will be performing a free concert for the Today Show audience at Rockefeller Center in New York City tomorrow morning. In other music world news, the Foo Fighters just released their newest CD, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, on September 25th. IGN has a pretty good review of the album. Here is a little snippet,
Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace feels very much like a transitional album for the Foo Fighters. There’s traces of their past (the echoes, so to speak) in songs like “The Pretender” and there’s plenty of silence, patience, and grace in the form of songs like “Statues.”
Also, they have some recommended Foo Fighter downloads from the album:
1. “Let It Die”
2. “Stranger Things Have Happened”
3. “Summer’s End”
4. “Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners”
5. “Statues”
6. “But Honestly”
7. “Once & For All (Demo)”
PS: The Sex Pistols are back in the studio! Its the first time in 30 years … wow.
