Bruce Springsteen will be performing a free concert for the Today Show audience at Rockefeller Center in New York City tomorrow morning. Prior to the concert, Bruce will be giving an interview at 8:20am, officially launching his new CD, “Magic”. The Today Show appearance will be a good launching pad for the upcoming Springsteen tour. If you’re having a problem getting a hold of tickets, charitybuzz is currently hosting a ticket auction for Bruce Springsteen tickets at various venues, in support of Musicians On Call and The Kristen Ann Carr Fund.
In other music world news, the Foo Fighters just released their newest CD, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, on September 25th. IGN has a pretty good review of the album. Here is a little snippet,
Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace feels very much like a transitional album for the Foo Fighters. There’s traces of their past (the echoes, so to speak) in songs like “The Pretender” and there’s plenty of silence, patience, and grace in the form of songs like “Statues.”
Also, they have some recommended Foo Fighter downloads from the album:
1. “Let It Die”
2. “Stranger Things Have Happened”
3. “Summer’s End”
4. “Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners”
5. “Statues”
6. “But Honestly”
7. “Once & For All (Demo)”
PS: The Sex Pistols are back in the studio! Its the first time in 30 years … wow.

Yet another Cloverfield update. Its been awhile, I apologize but this is a big one if true. This Cloverfield trailer is said to have appeared in the preview before Resident Evil in the UK. Pretty flippin’ sweet.
Update: Check the “I Am Legend” trailer.

How would you like to have lunch with ‘first black president’ Bill Clinton and Walley World poster boy Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) at the same time? Well, you can make this dream come true. I know its too good to be true but…
CharityBuzz, a service that hosts online charity auctions for many celebrities, is hosting an auction for lunch for two with both President Bill Clinton and Chevy Chase. Proceeds will benefit The Center for Environmental Education Online, which was founded by Jayni and Chevy Chase and will support an event called the Chevy Chase Green School Auction. The charitable giving raised will benefit in-service teachers so that they may receive environmental education materials on resources for their classroom.
The lunch will be held at a restaurant in New York City.
