Amy Winehouse was admitted to University College Hospital in London, after having an adverse reaction to medication. Just two months ago, Winehouse fainted in her home and this past January she was admitted into rehab. Read more at the London Telegraph!

Bruce Springsteen will be performing a free concert for the Today Show audience at Rockefeller Center in New York City tomorrow morning. Prior to the concert, Bruce will be giving an interview at 8:20am, officially launching his new CD, “Magic”. The Today Show appearance will be a good launching pad for the upcoming Springsteen tour. If you’re having a problem getting a hold of tickets, charitybuzz is currently hosting a ticket auction for Bruce Springsteen tickets at various venues, in support of Musicians On Call and The Kristen Ann Carr Fund.
In other music world news, the Foo Fighters just released their newest CD, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, on September 25th. IGN has a pretty good review of the album. Here is a little snippet,
Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace feels very much like a transitional album for the Foo Fighters. There’s traces of their past (the echoes, so to speak) in songs like “The Pretender” and there’s plenty of silence, patience, and grace in the form of songs like “Statues.”

RnB superstar Usher was suppose to get married this weekend to hottie Tameka Foster, who’s pregnant with their first child. The wedding was suppose to take place this weekend in the Hamptons between Usher Raymond the IV and Ms. Foster.
Usher’s mom didn’t approve of the wedding, but it is our belief that Usher, who is known for his love of porn and sex, just wanted to stay a single male pimp for a little longer!

Kanye West and comedian Zach Galifianakis along with indie superstar musician Will Oldham collaborate on a remix of the Can’t Tell Me Nothin’ video. The music video was shot on Galifianakis’ farm in North Carolina. Galifinakis says about Kanye,
He asked me to do it. He doesn’t want to be in it, but he sent me this new song and then asked me to make a video for him here at my farm,” he recently told Impose Magazine. “He saw me do stand up a few weeks ago here in Los Angeles, and we chatted after the show. He had seen me do these other music videos; I did one for Fiona Apple and I did one of my own where I sing an Anita Baker song. So he saw the Anita Baker one and asked me if I would come up with something. So we’ve been going back and forth trying to figure out what I’m going to do with the song.

Beonce Knowles took a rough spill last night while performing her song “Ring the Alarm” at her Orlando concert last night. Ms. Knowles requested that the video not be released to the public, however, a fan who wished to remain anonymous offered the footage to local news station WKMG Orlando. The fan said,
We saw that she was pumping her hair around and really into with her trench coat and high heels and as she proceeded to come down the stairs, she tripped on her coat and it seems like she fell on her collarbone and face, sliding down about 12 stairs.
The fan also reports that there was bloodshed! Poor beautiful legs!

Defense Lawyer Stacey Richman said in a recent interview that Lil Wayne is an honors student at the University of Phoenix, which he attends online. She says,
This is a very impressive young man
Richman said this in light of Lil Wayne’s recent arrest for gun possession yesterday evening. Police pulled over Lil Wayne’s bus near Columbus Circle for an unspecified traffic violation. As the cops approached the bus and smelled marijuana they entered and found a member of Wayne’s entourage attempting to flush a pound of marijuana down the toilet. Cops also found an illegal, loaded .40-caliber Taurus handgun. Both rappers posted bail.

Ok, so its only a $1 million lawsuit.
50 Cent is suing internet advertising company Traffix Inc for $1 million for for using his image in a promotion that he says threatens his safety. The ad features a cartoon image of the rapper saying “shoot the rapper and you will WIN $5,000 or 5 RINGTONES GUARANTEED.” Just because 50 (Curtis Jackson) really has been shot several times does not give anyone the right to use his image in this fashion.
The lawsuit calls it a ”vile, tasteless and despicable” use of 50 Cent’s image that “quite literally calls for violence against” him. It says the ad was “completely unauthorized.”
I agree with this totally. Whether or not you like 50, have a heart! Peace, love, rap.
